Reason for Making It
We wanted to create a knee friendly stem that worked well and did not damage you headtube.
Why it was made this way
This Stem is designed with a collet on the headtube. When the bolts are tightened the top and bottom of the stem come closer together thus compressing the collet piece onto the fork. The bar adjust is separate from the headtube by loosening only the bolts in the front of the bar.
