Reason for Making It
We haven't had many simple and clean logo designs for our shirts, so I wanted to create something that was just a simple logo based piece but with a little more to it. The PHI shirt gets its name from the perfect ratio PHI. I used the golden rectangle, which is a visual representation of the PHI ratio as a template, and adjusted the TREE logo to fit into each squares which compose the rectangle. The result is a nice clean logo based shirt where each TREE is perfectly proportional to the rest, which gives a cool spiraling effect.
