What do you think of the Tree Team?

The team is a group of individual personalities all of which love riding bikes.

What do you think you have learned from growing up where you did?

I would say I learned more from growing up how I did rather than were I did. I was born with nerve damage in my right arm, giving me limited range of movement. As a kid other kids and even my friends made fun of me because my one arm was less developed. This went on throughout my grade school years. But somehow as a kid out of all of that I always felt sorry for the kids who made fun of me. They attempted to make themselves look better by trying to bring someone else down. And for this reason I didn't get my feelings hurt. Some feel that it has caused a hardship in my life but I've always felt that it was a blessing, I have learned so many different things from it.

Pick one: Immortality, Invisibility, Invincibility, or the ability to fly. Why that one?

The ability to fly. But I would want to fly like a bird not like superman, because a bird can ride a gust of wind and free fall.

What do you do?

I am the owner and product designer for Tree from 9-5. I also like to be out in the sun, I'm in to eating healthy, Ride bikes, play with my dogs, travel, anything that's fun.

What do you think about bike riding today?

It's on another level. When I was growing up the stuff that the average rider does today was pro level then.

What's something, anything that you would like to achieve or experience in your life at least once?

I would like to achieve complete fulfillment. What I mean by that is to be truly living the life of my dreams in everyway and sharing that happiness with everyone else. I try to work towards that a little bit everyday. Some days I'm more successful than other days.

What influences you the most in your life? In riding?

I guess the answer is 2 polar opposites. I am influenced by seeing things I don't like because it lets me know what I don't want to do or what I want to do the opposite of. And I'm influenced by seeing things I do like because it inspires me to want to do those things myself.

What's an ideal good day for you?

- get up at 7am
- make some food and eat outside in the morning sun
- play with the dogs
- meditate outside, either on things I want to do that day or on nothing.
- go to work at Tree
- design a new bike part idea that I have. Send the drawings to the machinist.
- do general emails phone calls etc.
- 3:00pm be done eat and go ride with my friends while testing prototype parts.
- we all go swimming in my creek.
- come back to my place have a good vibed party in the yard
- as it gets dark make a bonfire and chillout in lawn chairs around the fire feeling good about the sweet day.
