TY STUYVESANT INTERVIEW

Location: Pittsburg, Pennsylvania
Age: 27
Occupation: Student

What's the worst job you have
ever had?

The worst job i had was a
dishwasher 3rd shift @ Eat'n park.
I would stay up for three days a
week straight work from 9 already.
It was just to much my boss was
on a power trip, money wasn't very good, and I was miserable. times
like that really help you appreciate
things when you have it easy.

What is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is definitely a bird.
I particularly like the common barn swallow. They fly with such skill
and control, quickly darting in and
out dodging one another. I love watching them and I wish I could experience a day in the life of a
barn swallow.

What are your hobbies outside
of BMX?

One of my favorite hobbies is
people watching. If there's anything
I need to stop doing its staring at
people. I feel like I'm a secret anthropologist making mental
notes in my head about the way or why people do things. I'm always
trying to pick apart each situation.
Good and bad observations help
give myself direction.

Have you ever eaten something out
of a trash can? What was it?
How did it taste?

The trash can really isn't that bad.
There's a lot of places that throw
stuff out because of a date, or
because its already been heated
up.  I tend to spend a lot of money
on food consequently I have my
spots around town to cut corners
so I can indulge on a plate of
something nice for the next meal.
Bagel places have always been
great to check. They always
wrap they're stuff up nice and tight.
Toast that baby up and you got some good eat'n  .

Have you ever been attacked by a
wild animal?

A pack of wild coyotes, surrounded
me @ dusk while I was walking
my bike through the woods. I really didn't expect anything like that nor
had I seen a coyote, let a lone
7 or 8 of them. It turned into a wild scene. I stopped dead in my tracks
tried to figure out where they all
were, There were a couple I could
not see. I really didn't know what
to do. This idea popped in my head
of them attacking me while I
tailwhipped my bike relentlessly
taking everyone of them down,
then I murmered to myself this isn't
the time to be dreaming up fairytails, think logical. Not more than a
moment later I let out a viscous war
call very loud and obnoxious unlike
any animal. they seemed to scatter
for a moment. I startled them
climbed upon my fairytail weapon
and took off down the trail full
throttle!
